The Stride is proud to present Jojo Kwenin who competes in 100 and 200m running.
Jojo is an avid sports fan and a soccer tragic, who decided to take up sprinting in 2006 after getting his first taste of championship competition at the New South Wales all-schools. Over the years Jojo had some success at state & national underage titles in the 200m & 400m.
However, it wasn’t until relocating and settling into Melbourne in 2014 to further his professional career that Jojo realised he still had not reached anywhere near his full athletic potential.
Jojo sought assistance from long time friend Brett Watton and in the 2016/17 season Jojo showed glimpses of progress, and what could be if he dedicated the time to the sport. Over the 2016/17 season he was a dual finalist in the Victorian Champsionships in the 100m & 200m, and to cap the season off he made the semi-final in the famous 120m Stawell gift.
Now coached by Paul Pearce, Jojo consults with the Stride practitioners to further his athletic ability, and remain on the track. Who knows what the 2017/18 season will hold, but if one thing is for sure, this guy can run!
